We are seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the smooth, efficient and compliant operation of the workplace environment for the WSP account at our Cardiff office.​

This role plays a key part in maintaining high service standards, ensuring a positive experience for employees and visitors, and supporting the operational needs of the business.​

Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the Facilities Manager will help uphold the core values of both ISS and the client.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who can provide strong day-to-day facilities leadership while also taking responsibility for monitoring compliance across the region.​

The role includes travel to offices within the South West to deliver on-site FM support, manage relationships and ensure consistent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office facilities operations including maintenance, security and cleaning services.

Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Monitor and manage office supplies and equipment to ensure availability and functionality.

Implement and uphold health and safety policies, carrying out inspections and risk assessments.

Manage the facilities budget and control facilities-related costs.

Respond promptly to facilities issues and employee requests.

Maintain accurate records including maintenance logs, service contracts and compliance documents.

Lead sustainability and energy-saving initiatives within the office.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Strong background in both hard and soft FM services.

Understanding of cleaning standards (cleaning provision supported by KAN).

Excellent people and relationship-building skills.

Good knowledge of H&S compliance, PPMs and KPIs.

Strong administrative capability and experience using CAFM systems.

NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely qualification.

Full UK driving licence (regional travel required).
