Summary

Job Overview
-
-Security Controller are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure working environment for all customers, visitors and contractors working on or visiting site.

-A high level of customer service and professionalism is required as security are often the first point of contact for all users (remotely) and locally in the building. They are front line representatives for the client.

Managing the command Room operations (Computer Systems - Access Control and CCTV), Keys, Radios, Lost Property, damaged fabric, Consumables and reporting all incidents accordingly in line with the sites SOP's and A. I'

Shift Pattern

Week 1: Saturday (Day), Sunday (Day), Monday (Night), Tuesday (Night), followed by 3 days off

Week 2: Saturday (Day), Sunday (Day), Monday (Night), Tuesday (Night), Wednesday (Night), followed by 2 days off

-The successful candidate should have strong control room experience, be confident managing teams, and demonstrate versatility in escalation handling and report writing.

-This role will also provide step-up cover for the Site Supervisor as part of our resilience planning.

Main Duties

-
-Escorting delivery drivers every morning to the kitchen lobby with deliveries
-Supporting a team of security officers on a daily shift basis

-Managing the Control Room and reporting incidents accordingly

-Having knowledge of all service partners and contacts

-Monitor access control system CCURE 9000. Responsible to look after all the alarms from all ARUP buildings nationwide.

-Create events on the access control system CCURE 9000 as and when request comes in from various offices.

-Monitor CCTV to ensure high standard of security services are provided to the client.

-Report any unusual activity caught on CCTV to security supervisor and security contracts manager.

-Respond to all emails and Alerts in an efficient and professional manner.

-Conducting card audit every night to ensure all the missing passes are deactivated.

-Helping security supervisor to conduct emergency lift phone checks every night.

-Recording all daily security activities on Daily Occurrence Book in Merlin software

-Delegating officers to various tasks to accommodate staff members like (escorting or putting luggage in cloak room)

-Manning security posts in both buildings (8FS & 80CS) as and when required.

-Patrolling of the site when required, identifying any defects or issues and resolving accordingly.

-Liaise and build relationships with staff members, visitors and contractors.

-Handling queries and complaints from ARUP staff members

-Responding to all calls from ARUP members ensuring service levels are provided to a high standard.

-Act as an ambassador for ARUP

-Handle all day-to-day enquiries which arise from whatever source in respect of the daily operation of the security.

-Working closely with other service providers and the local community including the police

-Reporting and escalation of H&S issues

-Implementing and enforcing emergency procedures

-Having knowledge of Controlled documents and storage platforms within the business

-Basic IT skill in setting up new folders and tracking changes.

-Any other reasonable request from management or client
