Job Summary
We are seeking a full time on site Electronics Production Assembly Operator to join our small dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling electronic and mechanical components and PCB's with precision and efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to the production of high-quality electronic products.
Duties
• Assemble electronic components and mechanical components according to detailed drawings and diagrams
• Use soldering iron and hand tools to perform precise assembly tasks of PCB's and mechanaical components
• Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure standards are met and use initiative to resolve problems
• Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Assist with inventory management by organising parts and materials in the warehouse
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently
• Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and escalate complex problems to supervisors as needed
Requirements
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand soldering and hand tools
• Previous experience in assembly, preferably within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise electronic assembly tasks
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical diagrams accurately
• Good organisational skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Prior SMD assembly experience is advantageous but not essential
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving production processes
