Role Overview

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Appeals Handler to join our busy Appeals Team. You will play a key role in supporting our claims and compliance functions, focusing on processing appeals, ensuring high quality communication, and maintaining accurate, professional records. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative and analytical skills in a technology driven business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process customer and client appeal cases relating to debt recovery, incident disputes, and service outcomes.
• Communicate professionally with external businesses and customers via email and internal systems.
• Analyse case details to ensure all information is accurate and compliant with company procedures and legal requirements.
• Work closely with Claims, Compliance, and Customer Support teams to resolve appeals efficiently.
• Maintain and update appeal records, tracking progress and outcomes.
• Ensure personal and customer data is handled securely in line with GDPR and company policies.
• Support general administrative and documentation tasks as required.

Skills & Attributes We’re Looking For

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable using common computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Office) and systems.
• Professional, proactive, and team-oriented approach to work.
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential, full training is provided.
