Summary

JOB REF: VAF200: GROUP LEADERS: ADULT SKILLS DAY PROVISION

Two opportunities are available:-

• Part-time, 16 hours per week, £11,431 per annum
• Casual, as and when required, £13.74 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Next Steps - Day Provision within Foundation Studies at Boston College’s Jean Ingelow Centre. As Group Leader you will be required to take responsibility for and manage small groups of young people attending the provision. You will plan, facilitate, and deliver a range of activities as well as provide tasters, inductions and enrolment. You will work as part of a small team of leaders who work together to ensure a high-quality delivery. You will liaise with parents/carers, conduct risk assessments and administer medication and personal care needs if required.

There is no requirement for formal teaching qualifications, but the applicant should be able to evidence experience of working with young people with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
