Summary

Warehouse Team Leader
Northampton
37.5 hours per week over 5 days Monday to Friday 8am until 4pm
£26,000 - £28,000 pa plus reward and benefit scheme

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at our warehouse facility in Northampton, you will manage the daily output of a wide range of set warehouse tasks, successfully delegating activities to your warehouse team. Responsible for ensuring stock accuracy and processes are followed, supervising staff, ensuring processes are adhered to and service levels and KPIs are met.

Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for Supervising a team of Warehouse Operatives
• Responsible for ensuring electrical items are PAT tested before listing (training will be provided)
• Ensuring that the Health and Safety procedures are followed correctly, the training records are updated, and all incidents are recorded on the appropriate system
• Ensure stock management processes, discrepancy resolution, and perpetual Inventory tasks are completed to the agreed processes and in a timely manner
• Ensure consignments are picked packed and accurately despatched using designated carriers
• Supervision of the ecommerce warehouse operation

About You
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Stock Control and Perpetual Inventory processes
• Organised and methodical approach with attention to detail
• A positive can-do attitude
• A Team player

Minimum Essential Criteria
• Experience of working within a warehouse team, preferably in a team leader role
• Ability to demonstrate a depth of knowledge on Health and Safety requirements for warehouse operations
• Understand activity and impact on defined Warehouse Service Levels and KPI’s
• Customer Service Experience
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office or Equivalent)
• Good Communication Skills
• Organisational Skills

Desirable Criteria
• One of either Counterbalance or Reach forklift licence
• Aisle master (Bendi) forklift
