Role Overview

Queens Cross Housing Association is an award-winning social landlord based in the northwest of Glasgow. With 4,355 properties adjacent to the city centre and West End and the Forth and Clyde canal running through, it is a place where people are proud to live and to work. Queens Cross Group includes a Registered Social Landlord, a property management subsidiary (Queens Cross Factoring) and a social enterprise which lets commercial property (Queens Cross Workspace).

The Queens Cross ICT Team are responsible for the maintenance and development of the Association’s ICT infrastructure, systems, capability and digital solutions. We make sure our network is secure and in line with best practice and industry standards. We work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, to guide and advise on the potential of new applications and technologies for adoption to support digital transformation.

Our ICT Officers are a key part of the department and support the provision of a customer focussed ICT service, providing first and second line helpdesk support to around 250 end users. They also support both the maintenance and development of our ICT infrastructure, capability, and solutions.

As part of our digital strategy, we are beginning the process of adopting a cloud first approach, beginning with Microsoft SharePoint and we are looking for someone with experience of SharePoint Administration.

To be successful, you will:

Be an analytical thinker, used to resolving complex issues involving discussion with colleagues to provide solutions. You will be able to investigate complex inter-related systems, identifying issues and providing solutions or improvements to these systems.
Be able to manage helpdesk operation by prioritising, resolving and escalating faults and you’ll monitor and use helpdesk data to track trends, produce reports and develop pro-active support and solutions based on that information.
Monitor and control the performance of the core ICT infrastructure and ensure actions taken maximise delivery of an efficient service to end users while protecting the security of corporate data.
Be responsible for the secure backup of corporate data and systems.
Contribute to planned maintenance and update programmes.
Prioritise and control your workload.
Be an excellent communicator, comfortable with interacting with all levels of colleagues across a business.

You will have demonstrable experience of:

Design, development and administration of Microsoft SharePoint.
Responding to issues raised on a helpdesk system.
Managing the maintenance, modification, and installation of ICT equipment.
Providing project support for software introduction and upgrades.
Administering user accounts, maintaining records and ensuring end user security.
Contributing to planned maintenance and update programmes.
Windows 11 installation and support.
Microsoft 365 administration, esp. Entra/Azure.
Active Directory administration.
Microsoft Server 2019 and 2022.
Coaching and supporting colleagues.
