Summary
Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician –
We are a well-established family-run garage seeking a qualified Vehicle Mechanic or experienced mechanic to join our growing team.
This is a full-time or part time mechanic role suitable for a newly qualified mechanic or an individual who has working experience in this field who is confident working independently with minimal supervision.
• Qualified mechanic (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
• Proven experience working on cars and 4x4s
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Key Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Reliable, motivated, and professional approach
Time keeping very important
Servicing, maintenance, and repair of cars and 4x4 vehicles
Diagnostics and fault finding
Mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, and engines
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
Working Hours:
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
• No weekend work
• Part time hours can be negotiated
