Summary
Job Description:
The Club Secretary / Financial Controller is responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of the Golf Club. Key tasks include:
Finance
Bookkeeping and Financial control utilising the Croft accountancy system
Recording and paying invoices
Supporting payroll
Recording of income and expenditure
Membership administration / Renewals / New member enquiries
Support
Assisting with AGM’s and SGM’s
Overseeing house and maintenance; dealing with suppliers.
Health and Safety support
General administration and dealing with member queries.
Essential Skills / Experience
Accounts / Bookkeeping / Financial control
Organisational capability
Proficient in use of IT (office-based applications)
Professional Communication
Hands-on dynamic individual with high degree of flexibility
Job Type: Part-time - 18 hours over 3 days
