Every two hours in the UK, someone sustains a spinal cord injury. When that happens, the financial and emotional impact can be
overwhelming.

Aspire exists to help people move from injury to independence — and our Welfare Benefits Service plays a vital role in making that
possible.

We’re looking for a compassionate, organised and confident Team Administrator to join our Welfare Benefits team.

This is much more than an admin role.

You will be the first point of contact for people reaching out for help — listening carefully, gathering key information, and
ensuring they are triaged and supported quickly and professionally. You’ll manage appointments, maintain accurate case records,
and support advisers so they can focus on delivering life-changing guidance.

You don’t need previous benefits experience — we’ll train you. What matters most is that you:

* Communicate clearly and confidently on the phone
* Are empathetic and patient
* Have strong administrative and IT skills
* Can manage your time and prioritise effectively
* Understand the importance of confidentiality

This role would suit someone who:

* Wants meaningful work where they can see the difference they make
* Is looking to build a career in advice, welfare or the charity sector
* Enjoys supporting others while keeping systems running smoothly

What you’ll gain

* Professional training within an Advice Quality Standard framework
* Experience working in a respected national charity
* Hybrid working (2–3 days in the office during training, reducing once established)
* 27 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
* Flexible working options
* Employee Assistance Programme and Mental Health First Aiders
* A genuinely supportive and inclusive team

If you’re someone who combines efficiency with empathy, we’d love to hear from you.

To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter explaining why you’d be a great fit for the role.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Closing date: 2nd April 2026
