An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Community Inpatient Ward at Dorking Community Hospital, part of Surrey Downs Health and Care.
This Band 5 role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive, forward-thinking multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients within a community hospital setting. You will play a key role in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating holistic care packages, ensuring care is delivered safely, effectively and in line with evidence-based practice and professional standards.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across health and social care, you will contribute to integrated care pathways that promote recovery, independence and wellbeing. You will be supported to develop your clinical skills, enhance your professional practice, and participate in clinical supervision, quality improvement and governance activities.

• To maintain, develop and monitor standards of evidence based nursing care
• To maintain own professional and clinical integrity in line with NMC guidelines.
• To support/mentor team members and participate in clinical supervision activities.
• To work in co-operation and partnership with all other professionals and agencies involved in the care of the client.
• To be aware of and act upon when necessary, procedures that are in place to protect vulnerable individuals.
• To participate in the company’s Clinical Governance Strategy.
• To participate in the company’s Risk Management Strategy
• To undertake any such other duties as may be required from time to time as are consistent with responsibilities and scale of the post.
