Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed EBD children’s home in Leicester. The home is registered for two young people who are currently settled, with a Deputy Manager already in post.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with experience in EBD residential care who is confident managing compliance, safeguarding, and inspection standards.
As Registered Manager, you will:
Lead the day-to-day running of the children’s home
Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people
Develop and support a stable staff team
Prepare for and manage inspections with Ofsted
Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and professionals
What’s on Offer:
£50,000 – £55,000 salary (dependent on experience & inspection history)
£2,000 bonus for achieving a Good Ofsted rating
£3,000 bonus for achieving an Outstanding Ofsted rating
Deputy Manager already in post
Shared on-call rota (managers & senior staff)
28 days annual leave

Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (completed or in progress)
Experience within an EBD children’s home
Strong safeguarding knowledge
Experience managing or deputising within residential care
Clear understanding of regulatory expectations and inspection standards
Start Date: ASAP (subject to safer recruitment checks).
