Summary
Masstemps are currently recruiting for a full time, despatch operative to join a busy and expanding manufacturing company in Kidderminster. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the yard, contributing to the efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain processes. This role involves loading and unloading materials, managing stock, and ensuring that products are picked, packed, and shipped accurately.
Duties
• Load and unload materials from lorries and containers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform picking and packing of products for dispatch, adhering to quality standards.
• Engage in materials handling tasks to facilitate smooth operations within the warehouse.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Build pallets or crates as required for shipment purposes.
• Work from hand scanners.
Skills
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
• Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout shifts.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm Friday 7am-12:45pm
Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour
