An exciting role has become available for a specialist care home Administrator at Swallowfield Gardens in Horwich, Bolton.
32 hours per week
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and with excellent organisational skills and can also demonstrate compassion and empathy to our service users.
As the Administrator for the home you will support the care home Manager and will work closely with other members of the team in order to provide a comprehensive admin service to support the Manager in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the care home.
We are a busy environment where no two days are the same. Perfect for someone looking for a new challenge and to develop existing skills.
Job role:
Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence emails/ main telephone /scan’s;
First point of contact for visitors, professionals and staff;
Data entry, retrieval and database maintenance to meet CQC standards etc;
Filing and archiving patient record and staff personnel files etc;
Creating and managing Word documents, Excel spreadsheets etc;
Updating and monitoring compliance of our online staff learning tool- Red Crier;
Assisting with recruitment needs;
Scheduling staff interviews and taking minutes;
Assisting with payroll duties;
Ordering of stock (stationery, clinical and other);
Liaising with external agencies;
Sending weekly bed list to head office;
Speaking to patients/nurses/external agencies to assist with any queries;
Review and update all annual leave requests;
Monitor sickness and update Bradford factor weekly;
To work closely with and support the Home Manager;
