What You'll Be Doing
As an SEN Support Assistant, you'll:
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEN and SEMH needs
- Assist with personalised learning plans
- Support emotional regulation, social development and communication
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
- Promote positive behaviour and consistency in the classroom
What We're Looking For
- Patient, calm and reliable
- Passionate about SEN support and child development
- Open to training, including autism awareness and SEMH strategies
- Motivated by improving outcomes for young people
- Experience with supporting people with SEN needs
Desirable (but not essential):
- GCSE/O‑Level or equivalent
- A driving licence (helpful for some school locations)
