1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Carlisle
Humly is recruiting a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join an SEN school on a temporary basis.
This is a part-time role (mornings only) starting 02/03/2026 and continuing until 27/03/2026, with the potential to continue beyond this. The role involves providing dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with special educational needs, delivering targeted interventions and supporting both academic and social development. This position would suit an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant who is nurturing, patient and confident supporting primary-aged pupils with additional needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs
Delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development
Adapting classroom resources to meet individual learning needs
Promoting engagement and participation during morning sessions
Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SEN team
