The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of assignments relating to maintenance of accompanied and/or unaccompanied housing in support of eligible military members. You will advise, recommend and resolve difficult Family Housing maintenance problems of a regulatory or procedural nature as referred by lower-graded employees and participate in regular or periodic surveys or audits to identify housing maintenance requirements or deficiencies. You will participate in resolving a variety of housing problems by assembling facts through interviews, monitoring complaints, and other housing maintenance actions and issues. In addition, you will perform presentations, conducts meetings, and conduct special studies or reviews.
Specific Requirements:
1 full year of graduate level education OR
1-year specialized experience of the Key Skills indicated, at the appropriate level. Plus
A valid UK Driving License (Category B)

Key Skills required for this role
1. Knowledge of the fundamental principles, techniques, and methodology of housing assistance to schedule and coordinate operation and efficient use of government quarters and facilities.
2. Knowledge of realty practices, management and financing practices of lease and sale of real property and relocation assistance.
3. Skill in conducting technical studies and surveys.
4. Skill in basic computer data entry, retrieval, and storage of information to input into an automated system. A qualified typist is not required.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals, both orally and in writing.
6. Ability to interpret and apply agency policies and directives.
Conditions of employment for this role
1. You will be required to handle and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with applicable US and UK laws, rules and regulations.
2. You may be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft, and you may also be required to travel to the US or other country, in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training.
3. This position may also be coded as mission essential.
4. You will be required to complete a 6-month probationary period.
5. Hours of work: 37.5 hours weekly. Fixed schedule: Mon-Fri 0800-1630. Start & end times may be modified due to mission needs and in accordance with organization’s flexible working policies.
6. Overtime may be required, and you may be assigned other duties not included in this position description, but that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the incumbent.
7. You must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
8. You must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
9. You may be required to operate a motor vehicle while conducting site surveys and studies.
10. Professional housing certification is desirable.
NOTE: You will require a security clearance and a right to work in the UK.
