A well-established Civils contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on an ongoing contract basis. This role involves supporting civils operations on sites working alongside commercial contractors, utilities providers and wider infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing project costs, valuations, variations and commercial reporting

  
  

• Supporting cost control, forecasting and subcontractor management

  
  

• Assisting with procurement and contract administration

  
  

• Working closely with site teams to ensure commercial compliance

  
  

• Providing regular updates to project managers and senior staff

  
  

• Working across civils-focused projects including utilities, infrastructure and commercial developments

  
  What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector, civils sector would be advantageous

    
    

  • Strong understanding of NEC or JCT forms of contract

    
    

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload across live sites

    
    

  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

    
    

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills

    
    

  • Available to start at short notice

    
    Qualifications (Required/Preferred)

    • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline

      
      

    • Professional memberships such as RICS or CICES (advantIf inageous but not essential)
