SEND Teacher - EYFS & KS1 North London
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled SEND Teacher to join a highly regarded specialist school in North London. This setting is known for its strong moral purpose, inclusive ethos and unwavering commitment to dignity, respect and aspirational learning for every pupil.
The school provides a warm, nurturing and purpose-built environment designed to meet the needs of pupils with SEN, including SLD and MLD, alongside some associated behavioural needs. This role will focus on EYFS and KS1 pupils, delivering highly personalised learning in small class settings with strong support from experienced teaching assistants and therapists.
- Lead an EYFS / KS1 class within a specialist SEN provision
- Plan and deliver differentiated, sensory-informed learning
- Support pupils with SLD / MLD and some behavioural needs
- Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary professionals
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience working within SEN settings, particularly SLD / MLD
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to inclusive practice
- £165 - £175 per day (PAYE)
- £190 - £202 per day (Umbrella)
- Paid to scale in a long-term role
