A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Exeter is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who need additional support and help them feel confident, understood, and successful in their learning journey.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Support children with EHCPs during lessons and key transitions
- Adapt learning activities and classroom resources under teacher guidance
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
- Support the development of communication and social skills
- Monitor and report on pupil progress to the class teacher and SENCO
- Help create a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

You will be a consistent and reassuring presence, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and celebrate their progress.

We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (school, care, youth work, or similar)
- Is patient, calm, and adaptable
- Communicates clearly and builds positive relationships
- Works well as part of a team
- Is confident supporting individuals and small groups
- Is willing to assist with personal care where required
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
- Competitive daily rate of £85-£95 per day
