Summary
All general yard duties to include :
Mucking out / keeping yard tidy
Turning out and bringing in
Field maintenance
Grooming, tacking up
Possibility of riding for the right candidate
Grooming at shows
Training
A Level 2 certificate will be awarded on successful completion of your apprenticeship
All training will take place within the workplace
Your dedicated trainer coach will visit you at work every 4 weeks
Qualifications required
GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.Call Haddon Training to discuss if not yet achieved - Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills Maths and English
Skills required
Already have good basic equine experience
Prospects
Progression to the Level 3 Senior Groom and or possibility of full time employment in completion.
Qualification / Standard : ST0166 Equine groom
Duration 12 Months
