Job Title: Attendance Improvement Officer

Location: Rugeley, Staffordshire

Salary: Grade 7, SCP 15-22 (£10,468 to £11,749 per annum actual salary)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Permanent, part-time, job share

Working Pattern: Part-time, 2 days per week (15 hours), term-time only

About You:

As an Attendance Improvement Officer, you will be dedicated to increasing levels of pupil attendance and punctuality, supporting the development of a positive culture of attendance. Our ideal candidate would have:

• Experience of working with children and parents in a school setting
• Excellent people skills and the ability to form good relationships
• Experience of using and maintaining a database such as Arbor
• Flexibility and adaptability

About the Attendance Team:

The Attendance Team at The Hart School is a department consisting of 3 members of staff. They work closely with the wider pastoral team, as well as students, families and other staff, and are committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment. The team is approachable, proactive, and deeply invested in helping students overcome barriers to learning and to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
