Summary
The Role – Field Service Engineer
This is a hands-on, varied, and well-paid engineering role where no two days are the same.You will:
● Travel to customer sites to service, maintain, install and commission ScaleAQ systems
● Diagnose and repair equipment including motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, and PLC systems
● Carry out workshop repairs at our Fort William base
● Provide technical advice and support to customers
● Complete electronic job sheets, risk assessments, and reports
Who We are Looking ForYou might already work in:
● Aquaculture
● Marine or offshore
● Industrial maintenance
● Manufacturing, automation, or plant engineering
You will have:
● Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience
● Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, or PLCs
● Good IT and fault-finding skills
● A full UK driving licence
● A flexible, problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills
Travel & On-Call
You will travel across:
Mainland Scotland
Orkney
Western Isles
Ireland
Some short-notice travel is required, and you will join a weekend on-call rota (with extra pay).
