D&T (Engineering) Teacher – The Role

A secondary school in St Albans is seeking to appoint a talented and motivated Design & Technology (Engineering) Teacher to join its technology faculty. The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology / Engineering across Key Stages 3–5, delivering a rich and stimulating curriculum that combines theory with practical application. You will help students develop real-world skills in design, engineering, and making, and contribute to the creative and technical culture of the department.

This is a full-time permanent role starting September 2026, with opportunities for development and collaboration within a committed faculty team.

This is a mixed secondary school with a sixth form, educating approximately 1,300 pupils aged 11–18 across Years 7 to 13.
