Summary

We are currently looking for a reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne Driver on behalf of our client based in Aylesham, delivering and collecting sterilised surgical supplies to and from NHS sites.

This is a vital role supporting healthcare services, ensuring essential surgical equipment is delivered safely, securely, and on time.

The Role

As a 7.5T Driver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering sterilised surgical instruments and medical supplies to NHS hospitals and healthcare sites

  • Collecting used surgical equipment for return to the sterilisation facility

  • Ensuring all goods are transported safely and in compliance with health and safety standards

  • Completing delivery documentation accurately

  • Maintaining high standards of professionalism when representing the company on NHS premises

  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy

This is a physically active role that may involve manual handling.

Shift Pattern

  • Saturday to Wednesday

  • Varying start times (flexibility required)

Pay & Benefits

  • £13.68 per hour

  • Weekly pay

  • Full training provided

Requirements

  • Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) licence

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  • Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation

  • Strong reliability and timekeeping

  • Professional and courteous manner
