Summary
We are looking for a committed and highly motivated Teaching Assistant, to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team from 13th April 2026.This is an opportunity to join our friendly and welcoming school. We are recruiting a full time Teaching Assistant who is caring, enthusiastic and reliable, and able to support learning at our Infant site (Pewley Down). There is some flexibility, and the role could be 4 days, or 4.5 days if this was more suitable.This is a class TA role, where you will support the children as directed by the class teacher. The role will also involve supporting children with addtional needs; individually, in groups and within the whole class provision. This is a varied role and we are looking for a flexible and resourceful individual, able to cope confidently in a demanding environment and able to adapt to changing situations.The role requires the ability to work well in a team, and to deliver programmes to individuals and groups of pupils. • are patient and calm by nature
• are self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative
• have excellent interpersonal skills
• have good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English & Maths at Grade C/equivalent)
• have good organisational skills
• are flexible
• have a good sense of humour
