Summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking a dedicated Evening Police Station Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our communities. You will be joining our Blue Light Soft FM Cleaning Team based at new Dewsbury Police Station on Halifax Road , Dewsbury, WF13

Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness of offices and in the custody suites. This vital role ensures the safety and well-being of all users of the custody suites by upholding strict cleanliness and sanitation protocols in a high-pressure environment.

We are offering 2 part time roles :-

Job 1. 10hrs per week Monday to Friday 6pm - 8pm

Job 2. 15hrs per week Monday to Friday 5pm – 8pm

As the contract ensures the site is serviced every single day of the year, including weekends and all public holidays, there will bethe option to pick up some overtime to cover annual leave and sickness, all to be discussed at the interview stage.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Clean and maintain all areas to standards required to meet the Authority requirements, including:-

  • Deep Cleaning Communal areas, Custody Suites, Interview Rooms, Cells & Vehicles
  • Office and facilities cleaning
  • Ensure appropriate PPE/uniforms are always used during working hours.
  • Adhere to strict protocols regarding biohazards, infection control, and contamination
  • Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any issues or maintenance needs
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in a secure police environment

Key Requirements will include:

  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual cleaning tasks
  • Knowledge of colour coding cloths, manual handling, COSHH & Health & Safety
  • Use a variety of cleaning equipment , including scrubber dryers
  • Ability to pass a Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Check *Essential
  • You must have resided in the UK for the last 3 years. *Essential
