Summary
Nursery Practitioner Apprentice
Gwendolen House Nursery School is open Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 7.00 pm and your working hours will be between these hours.
Wage: £8 per hour (apprentice wage for the first 12 months, national minimum wage after 12 months).
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to train as a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner within a supportive and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training towards a Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Planning and delivering engaging activities for children aged 0–4 years
- Creating fun and stimulating environments in line with the EYFS framework
- Observing, assessing, and planning for children’s individual interests and development
- Ensuring safeguarding policies and Ofsted requirements are met at all times
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Most of your apprenticeship will be spent in the nursery gaining hands-on experience, supported by structured training.
