Join the Journey of Luxury Hospitality Excellence

The Monogram Collective showcases a newly crafted collection of unique British stays, each with its own distinct charm. Our growing portfolio of boutique luxury hotels spans England and Scotland, including iconic properties such as The Vineyard, Pine Trees, and Meldrum House.

Steeped in heritage and reimagined for the curious modern traveller, our hotels celebrate individuality and the rich spirit of their surroundings, inviting you to feel the story of every place you stay.

We’re now seeking a talented Events Manager to lead, curate, and deliver extraordinary events across our Scottish properties.

Your Role at a Glance

As Events Manager for Scotland, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing an exciting range of events from high-profile corporate meetings and private dining to luxury weddings, conferences, celebrations, and golf events. You will lead the Events Office, act as the primary liaison for clients, and ensure every detail is delivered with precision, creativity, and warmth. Your leadership will help create world-class, memorable, and commercially successful events across Meldrum House, Pine Trees, and East Haugh House.

This is a full-time role based at Meldrum House, with occasional travel across properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise directly with clients to understand their vision, negotiate event details, prepare proposals, and manage contracts and payments.
  • Lead all pre-event planning, including logistics, schedules, supplier coordination, and documentation.
  • Oversee the seamless delivery of events, managing teams and suppliers to ensure exceptional experiences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating competitive rates and service agreements.
  • Ensure events comply with legal, insurance, and health & safety requirements, producing risk assessments where needed.
  • Work with Sales & Marketing to promote events and identify opportunities for new business.
  • Produce post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Front Office, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure a flawless guest journey.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the events team, delivering strong briefings and effective delegation.
  • Process payments securely, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.

About You

You are an experienced events professional with exceptional organisational skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering unforgettable experiences. You are confident working with clients, thrive under pressure, and bring a creative, solutions-focused approach to every project. You are warm, collaborative, and capable of leading a high-performing team.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as an Events Manager (or similar) within a luxury hotel or 4/5-star hospitality environment.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence in client-facing situations.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with event management or hotel systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi) is beneficial.
  • A positive, proactive “can-do” attitude and a passion for luxury service.
