Crynodeb
We are seeking a Specialist Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join our CAMHS Intellectual Disabilities (ID) Team. You will provide highly specialist systemic assessments, formulations and family therapy to children and young people with intellectual disabilities and their families, many of whom present with complex developmental and emotional needs. Your responsibilities will include delivering evidencebased systemic interventions, undertaking risk assessment and care planning, managing a specialist caseload, and contributing expert systemic insight to MDT discussions, safeguarding meetings and multiagency work. You will also offer consultation, clinical supervision and training to colleagues and partner agencies, supporting a systemic culture across the service. You will work closely with multidisciplinary CAMHS colleagues, social care, education, and wider health partners to ensure integrated, highquality care for young people. The role also involves contributing to service development, audit and research to support ongoing improvement within the CAMHS ID pathway. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
