CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator
A well-established and respected engineering company based in Ipswich is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join its skilled manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, friendly business with a long history of producing high-quality industrial equipment across a wide variety of bespoke projects.
Key Responsibilities
Working within a busy but supportive team environment, you will be responsible for:
• Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes or machining centres
• Working with Fanuc controls
• Producing precision components for industrial equipment
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Maintaining high quality and accuracy standards
• The work is varied and interesting, focusing on bespoke engineering rather than mass production.
Applicants must have
• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator
• Experience programming CNC lathes, mills or machining centres
• Knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens controls
• Ability to work independently and to high standards
• A positive attitude and ability to work within a small team environment
Hours/Salary
• c£17 per hour + O/T
• Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, with early finish on Fridays
