TLTP are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced PMLD/ Complex Needs Teacher to join a specialist school in Wallington, Surrey.
This is a rewarding opportunity to teach pupils working at Entry Level / Functional Skills Level 1, including low-level Post-16 life skills.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
•
Teach Entry Level / Functional Skills and Post-16 life skills
•
Deliver creative, pupil-focused lessons aligned to an agreed timetable
•
Take full responsibility for the progress and achievement of pupils within your specialism
•
Lead and coordinate a team of SEN Teaching Assistants
•
Apply a holistic approach, incorporating social care and teaching strategies
•
Promote pupil wellbeing, safeguarding, and safety at all times
•
Provide opportunities to develop English skills across varied contexts
Person Specification
Essential:
•
QTS or QTLS qualification
•
Experience working with SEN / Complex Needs / SLD / PMLD
•
Primary, Secondary or Post-16 teaching experience
•
Ability to lead a subject area and drive exceptional pupil progress
•
Experience managing and working alongside a multidisciplinary classroom team
•
Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment
