IT Services is a friendly, vibrant and fast-moving department with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and high-quality digital technology services to our staff and students.
We are looking to appoint a Cybersecurity Specialist. This position will report to the Head of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure and requires significant cybersecurity experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
• Supervise daily cybersecurity operations and assign tasks to team members.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve cybersecurity incidents in a time pressured environment.
• Track multiple threat intelligence sources to spot trends and recommend proactive mitigations.
• A broad knowledge of security risk and assurance practices including detailed knowledge of security control frameworks.
• Practical experience of the secure use of AI enabled systems or tools in cybersecurity operations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
