Your New Role
The School Facilities Manager plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the school, ensuring the site operates safely and effectively at all times. The role operates on a shift basis across two patterns and includes responsibility for responding to on-call call-outs when required.
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, carrying out minor repairs and routine maintenance, managing site security, and overseeing on-site contractors - ensuring facilities are safe, compliant, and fully prepared to support teaching and learning.
What You'll Need to Succeed
You will have experience in premises, facilities, or building management, alongside a strong understanding of health and safety procedures and site security. You will be practical, organised, and proactive, with the ability to undertake general repairs, safely move equipment, and follow guidance relating to tools, equipment, and materials.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as the role requires travel and the ability to respond to on-call call-outs.
