Summary

Are you an experienced production leader ready to take full ownership of shift performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

We are looking for a confident and driven Night Shift Manager to lead our clients' production operation, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output while developing and motivating high-performing teams.

As Shift Manager, you will take full accountability for production performance during your shift. You will lead from the front with a strong shop floor presence, ensuring targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Working hours are Monday- Friday 10pm- 6am

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a strong safety-first culture.
• Ensure safe systems of work and compliance with all HSE standards.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Deliver the production plan on time and in full.
• Manage KPIs including scrap, quality
• Ensure effective labour utilisation and shift handovers.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with BRC, ISO, GMP and internal procedures.
• Manage non-conformances and quality issues on shift.
• Lead, coach and develop production teams.
• Set clear expectations for performance and behaviour.
• Manage attendance, conduct return-to-work meetings and address people matters consistently.
• Support training, progression and succession planning.
• Drive waste reduction, scrap control and labour efficiency.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.

About You

• Has proven supervisory or management experience in manufacturing
• Understands production KPIs and performance management
• Thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Has strong communication and decision-making skills
• Is IT literate and comfortable with production systems
• Injection moulding experience is desirable
• Lean / Continuous Improvement knowledge is desirable
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is desirable
