Summary
Our client is seeking someone to fufil their outstanding quality assurance role to support a multi-award-winning free-range egg producer and packer hailing from Cornwall in the Southwest of England, based in Mid Cornwall

The role:
• Monitor quality and safety of shell eggs and processed egg products
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations
• Conduct daily quality inspections (grading, candling, weight checks, packaging verification)
• Oversee sanitation and hygiene standards in grading and processing areas
• Monitor egg storage conditions (temperature, humidity, stock rotation – FIFO)
• Maintain quality control records and traceability documentation
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Coordinate microbiological testing and environmental monitoring
• Support audits and inspections by regulatory authorities
