We’re recruiting part time permanent and relief Support Workers in a supportive, friendly, and passionate team that truly values what you do.
• Rolling rota including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins (9.5 hours, paid on top of your contracted hours)
• Typical day shifts: 7:30am – 10:00pm
• Every other weekend off - because work-life balance matters

About the role
This is a service with a proven track record of helping individuals grow in confidence and develop the skills they need to live more independently, supporting four active and independent people with learning disabilities who share a home in Chepstow and are fully involved in their community, with some even taking part in paid work.
Every day is different, full of fun, purpose, and meaningful moments as you support with activities such as litter picking at Caldicot Castle, days out, shopping trips to local areas, building independence and life skills, and engaging in daily routines and wider community involvement.
Key Duties will Involve:
Supporting with individuals’ hobbies and activities.
Providing person-centered support for daily needs, including personal care (showering, bathing, brushing teeth, continence care, etc.).
Supporting dietary needs and food preparation.
Offering emotional support.
Completing cleaning and administrative tasks.
Administering and managing medication.
Monitoring individual medication stocks and finances.
Bringing innovative ideas to improve team practices and keeping digital records.
Skills and Experience Needed
A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided.

Pay and Pensions
£24,531 (£12.75 per hour)
Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift - approx. 1 per week.
Waking night rate: 20% Enhancement from 11pm to 7am
Enhanced DBS which we will pay for
Social Care Wales registration is fully reimbursed
Pension Choices:
Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%. Or,
Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service.
