Join a professional commercial vehicle team in Avonmouth, Bristol as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Technician. You’ll service, diagnose and repair HGVs, LGVs and trailers to DVSA/manufacturer standards—on a Monday–Friday early/late pattern—with structured training, regular overtime and a clear path to progress.
The role — HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter
• Service and repair HGVs, LGVs and trailers to DVSA/manufacturer standards
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical & electrical faults efficiently
• Complete inspections, planned maintenance and accurate documentation
• Support workshop productivity and keep a clean, safe working environment
• Stay current with technical training, product updates and new vehicle tech
What you’ll bring
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostics and problem‑solving skills
• Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 desirable)
Pay, hours & type
• Rate: £20–£23 per hour (DOE)
• Hours: Mon–Fri early/late — 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
• Job type: Permanent
• Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
