For over a century weve been helping former service personnel deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today we provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues related to their military service. We provide a range of community, outpatient and residential mental health services to veterans with complex mental health problems. We provide servicesin-person, and viaphoneandonline. About the role: We have an exciting opportunityfor a Band 7 Clinical or Counselling Psychologistor BABCP Accredited CBT Therapistto join our team. We require highly skilled and motivated practitioners to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team providing high quality, specialist evidence-based treatment to Veterans. The post holderwill be innovative, enthusiastic and flexible and able to work both autonomously and as part of the team. Key elements of the roles will include; delivering CBT on a one to one and group basis including intensive trauma focused CBT contributing psychological expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary team contributing to service evaluation, audit and research contributing to policy and service development We are particularly interested in receiving applications from those with experience in the specialist field of trauma All psychological therapists at Combat Stress are professionally managed with appropriate levels of supervision, peer support and specialist training. This role is subject to a PVG check.
