Summary
The post holder will work with the consultant leads on this project at all three sites, with project managers from SELCA and with other clinical staff involved in delivering HCC surveillance at each site. The post holder will be expected to help with the development of databases of patients at risk of HCC at each site; they will be involved with novel AI solutions to improving HCC surveillance as well as projects in improving patient engagement. The clinical duties of this post will be predominantly outpatient service in hepatology, with the possibility of oncology clinics also. There is no provision for endoscopy training in this post, but there may be opportunity for some experience in this area on an ad hoc basis if desired. There may be the requirement to cover aspects of the inpatient service if required.
