Summary

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in East Hertfordshire District to assist with the appointment of a Housing Options Triage & Support Officer, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.24 - £15.80 per hour

Summary:

The Councils Homeless Service is seeking a Housing Options Triage & Support Officer to join the team.

In this role, you will provide an efficient and high-quality advice and assessment service to individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact, triaging housing enquiries
Provide housing advice in line with current legislation and Council policy
Book homeless assessments with Housing Options Officers
Support customers with Housing Register applications, Rent Deposit Scheme applications, referrals, and medical forms
Assist caseworkers with day-to-day case management
Essential Requirements:

Strong communication and customer service skills
Good organisational and administrative skills
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive and proactive approach
