Summary
Are you an experienced SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding part‑time role in a supportive and well‑resourced specialist setting?We are looking for a passionate KS1 SEND Teacher to lead a semi‑formal curriculum class supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming team who are committed to providing meaningful, child‑centred learning experiences.
The role
- Deliver high‑quality teaching to a small KS1 class following a semi‑formal curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging, sensory‑based and structured learning opportunities
- Work closely with a strong support team including TAs and therapists
- Adapt teaching to meet individual EHCP targets and communication needs
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Work 2-3 days per week
About You
- A qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent) - suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers
- Confident teaching pupils with SEND, ideally Autism, MLD, or complex needs
- Skilled in differentiation, sensory learning, and communication‑friendly approaches
- Calm, adaptable, and passionate about helping pupils achieve meaningful progress
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
