Our client, a well-established children’s residential care provider, is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead their 2-bed Complex Care home, currently rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a 2-bed children’s home
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and National Minimum Standards
Maintain a minimum Ofsted rating of “Good”
Develop and oversee personalised care plans tailored to each young person
Recruit, develop and retain a stable, high-performing team
Promote young people’s participation and consultation in their care
Allocate and support Key Workers to implement care plans effectively
Manage safeguarding, complaints and child protection matters
Work in partnership with families, carers and external professionals
Attend and contribute to care planning and review meetings
Manage budgets effectively and ensure strong commercial performance

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
At least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to enrol within 6 months
Strong knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF and relevant childcare legislation
Experience supporting children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties
Strong leadership, organisational and budget management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence
