Summary

  • Business Systems Analyst (Reporting) - Housing Sector
  • Location: North London (Hybrid)
  • £20-22 per hour
  • Part Time/ School Hours Friendly (Circa 21 hours weekly)
  • 3 Month Contract

We're looking for an experienced SQL & SSRS Data Analyst to support our housing services across North London. You'll play a key role in improving data quality, performance reporting, and insight across core areas such as repairs, voids, income, compliance, and tenancy management.

What you'll be doing

  • Analysing business processes, and configuring or enhancing system functionality to ensure QL and related platforms effectively support housing operations, compliance, and service delivery
  • Developing and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, datasets, and views used across housing functions
  • Creating and delivering accurate SSRS reports for operational teams, senior leaders, and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting key housing KPIs (void turnaround, arrears, repairs performance, complaints, compliance)
  • Improving the accuracy of data held in housing management systems
  • Working with service managers to define reporting needs and automate routine reporting

What we're looking for

  • Strong SQL experience (complex queries, joins, optimisation)
  • Proven SSRS experience, including building and maintaining reports
  • Experience in the housing or social housing sector (highly desirable)
  • Experience in providing 1st and 2nd line support for Aareon QL Housing System
  • Understanding of core housing operations and performance measures
  • Analytical, detail‑driven, and confident explaining data to non‑technical colleagues
