Summary

Lead Financial Insight in a Rapidly Scaling, Private Equity-Backed International Group

Our client is a high-growth, international infrastructure services group that has significantly accelerated its expansion through strategic acquisitions and a landmark £660 million refinancing package in 2025, providing substantial capital to fuel international growth, fleet expansion and digital transformation.

Since 2019, the Group has expanded its footprint across the UK, Europe and North America, strengthening its position in key international markets through targeted acquisitions and organic growth. Backed by a leading European infrastructure investor since 2022, the business continues to scale at pace, supported by strong demand and a clear long-term strategic vision.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this is a high-profile leadership role with exposure to the CEO, Board and majority investor.

The position leads all aspects of Group financial planning and analysis, delivering robust insight, forecasting discipline and strategic decision support across a complex, multi-entity, multi-geography organisation.

Core Responsibilities

    • Lead Group-wide budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
    • Deliver monthly performance reviews and variance analysis to ELT and Board
    • Support strategic planning and long-term modelling
    • Develop and maintain complex financial models to guide capital allocation and growth decisions
    • Identify key financial trends, risks and opportunities
    • Enhance FP&A processes, automation and business intelligence capability
    • Strengthen business partnering across international operations
    • Partner with Treasury to drive sustainable working capital improvement
    • Support acquisition analysis, integration and post-deal performance tracking
    • Prepare high-impact reporting and presentations for Board and investor engagement

This role is central to the Group’s transformation journey — embedding forward-looking insight and analytical rigour at scale.#

        • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
        • Significant Director level FP&A leadership experience
        • Experience in high-growth, multi-currency and multi-geography organisations

        • Strong board-level communication and stakeholder engagement capability
        • Advanced modelling and analytical expertise
