Salary & Rewards
We believe in rewarding commitment, qualifications and therapeutic skill.
Support Worker (Unqualified): £27,000 – £29,500 per annum
Support Worker (Level 3 Qualified): £30,000 – £31,500 per annum
Senior Support Worker (progression opportunity): £31,000 – £34,000 per annum

Additional Payments:
• £50 per sleep-in shift
• Overtime opportunities available
• Funded qualifications and clear pay progression linked to development

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing
• Provide high-quality, consistent care to children and young people.
• Build trusted, meaningful relationships that foster emotional safety.
• Support children in regulating their emotions and developing coping strategies.
• Implement personalised care and therapeutic plans.
• Promote education, health, independence, and positive life skills.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Keep accurate records and contribute to care planning.
• Create a warm, structured, family-style home environment.

Who We’re Looking For
• Compassionate, patient, and emotionally intelligent individuals
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Strong communication skills and natural warmth
• Understanding of trauma-informed care (or willingness to learn)
• Reflective and receptive to professional development
• Experience with children and young people (desirable but not essential)
• Willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare if not already qualified

Training & Development
• Full therapeutic and trauma-informed care training
• Safeguarding and behaviour support training
• Ongoing professional development
• Professional development, including Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare, Level 4 Residential Childcare Practitioner, Level 3 and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
• Clear progression pathways (Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Deputy Manager)
