Summary
Opportunities for the successful candidate include providing specialist psychological assessment of children and young people, including assessment as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will formulate and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of mental health problems, employing strong evidenced based practice. You willbe responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions for children and young people, their families and care systems. The post holder will provide specialist psychological advice and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to clients formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan. The post holder will lead on the use of advanced psychological research, audit, and serviceevaluation methodologies to drive service development and ensure the consistent implementation of evidencebased psychological practice. They will work collaboratively with senior clinicians and managers, providing specialist consultation, interpreting complex data, and contributing to strategic decisionmaking to enhance service quality, effectiveness, and patient outcomes.
