Key Responsibilities

We're looking for a motivated Hygiene Shift Manager to lead hygiene operations, ensure site compliance, and deliver high standards in a fast‑paced environment.Operational Excellence

Manage daily hygiene operations, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standard.Complete all compliance documentation and sign-off sheets on time.Conduct regular site walkarounds to monitor hygiene performance and equipment readiness.Deliver scheduled Q‑Audits and lead corrective actions for any non‑conformance.Manage contamination incidents, glass breakages and pest activity, driving root‑cause analysis and preventative actions.Respond to reactive tasks and customer issues within agreed KPIs.Ensure full adherence to QHSE standards, site safety regulations and Livesafe principles.Maintain accurate risk assessments, CWIs and hygiene schedules aligned with BRC and customer requirements.Identify opportunities to improve hygiene processes and efficiency.

Resource & Financial Control

Ensure all hygiene equipment, PPE and machinery are available, maintained and fit for purpose.Support cost control and ensure accurate wage processing for shift staff.

People Leadership

Lead, train and develop hygiene team members.Conduct staff inductions, RTWIs, investigations and performance reviews as required.Plan shift work schedules and allocate daily tasks effectively.Uphold company standards for conduct, appearance and safe working practices.Manage staff absence and escalate issues to the Contract Manager when needed.Promote a positive team culture and strong communication.

Administration & Information Management

Maintain up‑to‑date training records, site documentation and annual leave logs.Deliver monthly team briefings and toolbox talks.

Self‑Management

Manage time effectively and support client/manager requests.Attend required training to maintain competency and compliance.
