We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to support the safe, secure, and timely transportation of medications to patients and hospital departments. The post holder will work as part of the pharmacy team to maintain high standards of service delivery, ensuring medicines are handled in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and a strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality.

Evening and weekend working may be required to meet service needs.

As a Delivery Driver you are responsible for the safe, secure, and timely transportation of medications in line with organisational policies and legal requirements. You are required to maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality at all times.

Main Responsibilities:
• Deliver medications securely to patients and designated locations
• Comply with all procedures relating to medicine handling and storage for controlled drugs and temperature-sensitive items
• Check and maintain accurate delivery documentation in a timely manner maintaining clear and auditable records
• Report discrepancies, incidents, or concerns promptly
• Provide a professional and courteous service
• Ensure vehicle safety and compliance with road regulations
• Adhere to health & safety, infection control, and data protection policies
• Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff regarding deliveries
• Escalate concerns or incidents appropriately
