This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a nurturing, therapeutic environment where education, care, and clinical teams work collaboratively to help every student achieve their personal best.

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering personalised, engaging lessons tailored to each student’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons suited to individual needs

Supporting students with autism, communication needs, and associated behavioural challenges

Creating a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team

Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

Supporting students’ emotional regulation, independence, and life skills

Experience working with SEN, particularly autism (desirable but not essential)

Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice

Calm, patient, and empathetic approach

Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing

Teachers from mainstream backgrounds with a strong interest in SEN are encouraged to apply — full support and ongoing training are provided.
